  • FRONT COVER: This photograph is one of the ITG editor's favorite images of Thomas Edison. The sunlight entering the window behind T. A. Edison partially obstructs his facial features presenting him in an other-worldly light. Giving him no time to research, I asked Jerry Fabris, Museum Curator, Thomas Edison National Historical Park, the date and location of this image. He speculated it was taken around 12/12/1911 because of similarity of photos titled: "First Cement Cabinet for Phonograph Displayed in Library of Building #5."
  • BACK COVER: In preparation of Tony Wellman's article on Clarence Ferguson, he visited and interviewed the renowned Lew Green. This photo documents Lew playing an impromptu version of "Honolulu Baby" (Laurel & Hardy fans will know the tune) into the horn of his Edison Triumph while Tony expressed his appreciation of the great performer's talents.
